Fixed the high CPU temps by just exchanging out the CPU heatsink + fan combo to another one I had sitting around.

Have moved back to windows I think. Not sure what it is about linux in general and Pop-OS specifically but it just doesn't look as sharp. Windows 10 definitely looks and feels better. Eh we shall see. I've got two SSDs sitting in the PC and I can flick between the two whenever I feel like it.

New TV has arrived and it is glorious. Just a stunning piece of tech. I am super glad that I went with the 65inch model. Definitely fits and feels good to watch. It's imposing but because of its thinness and barely there bezels, the tv fades away and you are just left with enjoying the content. Can't wait to put it through its paces. Need to purchase new HDMI 2.1 cables capable of the full 48gb/s throughput.

If anyone is in the market for a high end 4k OLED display, you can't do much better than the LG CX series. You'll be spending money but as an investment, well worth it. Considering how much TV we watch on daily, weekly, monthly basis. It works out be quite a low price per hour of use.
