Another tough day with my family member remaining in hospital till at least tomorrow. Fingers crossed the medical staff are right when they say tomorrow should be good.

Going to be an extended recovery run I feel.

Starting GA next week. The hospital issue has curtailed my prep-work though I should be able to manage early next week to finish it off. I can't imagine it will take me too long to complete the otehr couple of projects.

My partner and I are discussing when we should book Melbourne. We will probably figure out a couple of dates and make sure that everything is refundable and just pull the trigger.

Had another early start today at Macquarie Uni, it's enjoyable work if boring as hell. The day was interrupted by a visit to emergency because a family member was taken there via ambulance. Not in immediate danger I don't think but still a scary experience. Fingers crossed they get released tomorrow but that will depend on the tests and the subsequent results. Forgot I hadn't re-installed ProtonVPN on my linux box. Thankfully it is such an easy process. Just had the protonvpn repositories, then install it. It automatically pulls updates when required and really is such an easier way of runnning your pc. Still have to figure out our 1password shared vaults. I am getting a lot of family member logins in my search that I just don't want. Not sure how to solve it. Maybe go through with dad and take away his ability to add to the vault. Maybe that's ...
